Connect the Classroom
The government has recently announced £325 million of Connect the Classroom funding available in total for the 2025 to 2030 financial years to improve digital connectivity in schools.
The purpose of the programme is to ensure that schools and colleges meet six core government digital standards by 2030.
How to apply for funding?
The Department for Education (DfE) will contact eligible schools directly. Schools that meet the criteria will receive funding if their WiFi connectivity falls below the required standards.
Eligible schools must then appoint a supplier to carry out the work in line with DfE defined specifications.
