A positive workplace culture is key to fostering a collaborative & effective workforce. But how do you measure your culture and drive change?
This is where we can help...
Our Cultivating Culture programme is based on proven methodology, supported by our research and experience which identified seven primary sub-cultures measured against five indicators, as shown in our model below. These indicators, including leadership and ED&I, are crucial to your success across all seven sub-cultures and provide richer data from which to identify the right areas for development. This forms the basis of our cultural indicator, which can be completed by colleagues at all levels of your service within minutes.
When it comes to making change happen, we keep things simple by only ever focussing on three core areas ('Focus on 3') that will shift your culture. This means we’re not overcomplicating things and instead prioritising your most important development areas and improving them quicker.
A model for building positive workplace cultures:
Benefits of following this model:
Concise, agile data gathering & reporting
Uncomplicated view & understanding of your culture against core indicators
Ability to consistently track your culture over time & show progress
Colleagues at all levels actively engaged in the change
Increased collaboration & innovation
Increased performance against KPI's
How do we motivate people to change?
Culture change requires behaviour change, and this is what we do best. In addition to our ‘Focus on 3’ ethos, we need to create the right climate for change to happen. By working with all levels of your services before, during and after the Focus on 3 interventions, we do exactly that, and help make sure the chances of successful change are significantly increased.
Senior Leaders
Change cannot happen if it isn't driven & supported by decision makers. We work with senior leaders from the start to cultivate a clear story for change that can be shared throughout the service.
Middle Leaders
Leaders of leaders are often the forgotten 'middle child', but they are crucial in shaping culture. We work with them to cultivate the behaviours we want to see across the service and how they can drive them.
First-Line Leaders
As the people leading the majority of the workforce, first-line leaders play a huge role in how the services operates. We work with them to cultivate the tone they will set with their teams to encourage change.
Frontline
The frontline are how communities access your service, and determine how it's viewed. We work with them to ensure they always know what's happening, and use their feedback to shape the programme.
