In 2021 job resignations skyrocketed around the world. Impacted by factors including work burnout, furlough, work-life balance and impact on company culture due to the pandemic.

A UK and Ireland survey by Personio found that 38% of employees were planning to leave their jobs in the next six months to a year. The pandemic forced people to question their working lives, and whether their current situation is one they wished to continue. With questions around work-life balance and the ability to work from home shaping the new normal, it is unsurprising that employees are considering a change.
