While schools are currently doing everything in their power to keep some kind of continuity with remote learning and education, technology is playing a bigger part in education delivery and success.
SENDSpace is the whole-school development programme that supports schools to successfully implement the graduated response and create better outcomes for ALL pupils. All schools have a duty to be accessible and inclusive for the children within their community and with the amount of time currently being spent away from the classroom the task will be even greater. Upon their return, we will need to understand what the barriers may be to learning and while we, of course, care about attainment and results, we need to ensure that children and young people are socially and emotionally ready for ‘life after lockdown’.
