Join us for the latest local government webinar

Even before the Covid-19 pandemic, the gauntlet had been laid down to local authorities to ensure they had up to date Local Plans by the end of 2023. We are now in a critical period where authorities must quickly unpack the implications of the pandemic and what it means for plan making in their locality.

There are clear risks around maintaining transparency and engaging communities in the face of ongoing and regularly changing lockdown measures, and the impact upon aspects of the evidence base, not least after economic forecasts.

However, there is also a great opportunity to showcase the ability of plan makers, through a variety of tools, to be front and centre of the recovery.

We invite you to join our webinar on 16th July at 13:00, where we’ll be bringing together planning colleagues from Hambleton District Council, Built-ID and Re Ltd, to share their views on the risks and opportunities presented by Covid-19, and how their organisation is responding.
