Reach your full potential, one step at a time. The cybersecurity Skills Bootcamp is split across four units, each including a project-based assessment. At the end, you’ll walk away with a Level 3 Introduction to Cyber Security certificate plus a guaranteed job interview with a top employer. Take that, little voice. 

Unit 1: Understanding of Cyber Security and Online Threats 

Learn how identify a range and variety of cyber threats, analyse and understand threats by type and evaluate the impact on individuals and organisations  

Unit 2: Analysis and Understanding of Cyber Threats 

Learn how to understand the parts of a system that could be attacked, analyse how attacks affect different parts of systems and evaluate how and why systems are attacked.

Unit 3: The Application and Deployment of Security Tools and Best Practice

Learn how to understand a range of cybersecurity tools, plan, use and practice with common forensic tools and evaluate said tools and recommend best practices 

Unit 4: Extended Project – Defending an Online System

You’re can apply for a fully funded Skills Bootcamps place if you’re:

  • Living in England.

  • Aged 19 or over as of 31 August 2021 (born before 1 September 2002). 

  • A citizen of a country within the European Economic Area (EEA) who has lived here for at least the last three years. 

  • Not in receipt of any other Adult Education Budget (AEB) funding. 

You may also qualify to apply for Skills Bootcamps if you're:

  • A non-EEA citizen permitted by the UK Government to live in the UK for non-educational purposes AND who has lived in England for at least the last three years. 

  • A family member of an EU national. 

  • A refugee.

  • An asylum seeker.
